Mammootty opens up about Bramayugam; makes a special request to fans at the trailer launch event

Bramayugam, the highly anticipated horror-suspense thriller which stars Mammootty in the lead role, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. The movie, which is helmed by Rahul Sadasivan, is set to have a pan-Indian release in five languages, on February 15, 2024. The highly anticipated official trailer of Bramayugam was released at the grand launch event, which was held in Abu Dhabi on February 10, 2024, Saturday.

Mammootty, who addressed the audiences at the Bramayugam trailer launch event, opened up about the ambitious project. Interestingly the megastar has also made a special request to his fans at the event, leaving the netizens surprised.

Mammootty requests fans to watch Bramayugam without expectations

The veteran actor, who addressed the audiences at the trailer launch event, requested both his fans and cine-goers to watch the film in theatres without expectation. Mammootty, who is impressed with the Bramayugam trailer, admitted that it is enough to create major expectations for the highly anticipated film. However, the megastar asked to keep their minds blank while watching the film, as expectations might kill the experience. He further added the audiences to not complain later, if the film does not match up to their expectations.

Interestingly, Mammootty refused to comment on what the Rahul Sadasivan directorial has in store for the audiences. The megastar also stated that he has no plans to make any huge claims about the film or what it has to offer to the Malayalam cinema audiences. Instead, the legendary actor is waiting for his fans and cine-goers to watch Bramayugam without any preconceived notions and share their genuine opinions. Mammootty’s speech has impressed the netizens, who feel that it is a clever move from the leading man and makers, to keep the pre-release hype low.

Mammootty dubs in 5 languages for Bramayugam

For the uninitiated, Bramayugam is set to release in five languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, on February 15, Thursday. Mammootty, who plays the role of Kunjamon Potti in the highly anticipated film, has dubbed himself for all versions of the films. The megastar’s impeccable voice modulation and dialogue delivery in the promising Bramayugam trailer have been receiving great response from the audiences.
