Mammootty-Jithin K Jose project: All you need to know about the upcoming schedules

Mammootty is currently on a signing spree and has an exciting line-up of upcoming projects. The megastar is joining hands with debutant director Jithin K Jose, for his upcoming 428th outing in Malayalam cinema. The untitled film, which features Vinayakan in a pivotal role, started rolling in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, a couple of weeks. After wrapping up the Nagercoil schedule, Mammootty, Jithin K Jose, and team are now back in Kerala, for the second phase of shoot.

Mammootty-Jithin K Jose project: All about upcoming schedules

As per the latest updates, director Jithin K Jose and his team kickstarted the second schedule shoot of the untitled film at Ernakulam, Kerala, on Saturday (October 12, 2024). A recent picture of Mammootty, who was seen arriving at the sets of the much-awaited film, is now going viral on social media. For the uninitiated, the megastar had limited days of shoot during the film's Nagercoil schedule, which mainly involves Vinayakan’s portions. The veteran actor’s portions in the film will majorly be filmed in Ernakulam.

The current schedule of the film is expected to be wrapped up in a couple of weeks, after which the team will go on a short break. If the reports are to be believed, the third schedule of the upcoming Mammootty-Vinayakan starrer will be shot at the various locations of Munnar, Kerala. The legendary actor, who is set to play yet another negative character in the film, has reportedly allotted around 40 days for the shooting of his 428th film.

In location pictures, Mammootty is seen sporting his new look for the film, in a back-combed hairdo and a thick moustache. Vinayakan, who reportedly plays a positive cop role in the film, is seen in a formal look in the pictures. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast and other details. Sushin Shyam is reportedly roped in to compose the music score. Roby Varghese Raj has joined the team as the director of photography of the film, bankrolled by Mammootty Kampany.
