The megastar of Malayalam cinema teaming up with renowned filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon in the upcoming action thriller, Bazooka. Interestingly, the veteran actor is now reportedly set to join hands with the Kaakha Kaakha director once again, for the latter’s Malayalam directorial debut. As per the recent updates, Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s untitled project is now all set to go on floors.
Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s film to start rolling on June 15?
If the recent updates are to be believed, the highly anticipated Malayalam directorial debut of Gautham Vasudev Menon is expected to go on floors, on June 15, 2024. The movie, reportedly produced by leading man Mammootty himself under the banner Mammootty Kampany, will start rolling in Chennai. As per the reports, Chennai will be the prime location for the untitled film, which is touted to be a stylish thriller.
The unconfirmed reports also suggest that the much-awaited project, which reportedly features South cinema’s lady superstar Nayanthara as the female lead, will have its official launch on the same day. Expectations are riding high on Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s film, which is expected to mark the supremely talented filmmaker’s grand entry into the Malayalam film industry. More updates on the rest of the star cast and technical crew are expected to be out very soon.

As mentioned earlier, Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon are sharing the screen in Bazooka, the upcoming action thriller directed by newcomer Deeno Dennis. The grapevine suggests that the actor-filmmaker is set to play a grey-shaded character in the action thriller, which features the megastar as the protagonist. The post-production works of Bazooka are reportedly nearing final stages, and the movie is expected to hit the theatres as an Onam special release. The official teaser, on the other hand, is expected to be out in a couple of weeks.
