Mammootty is highly active in his acting career and has a massive line-up of upcoming projects in his kitty. The megastar of Malayalam cinema is reuniting with his Bazooka co-star Gautham Vasudev Menon, for the filmmaker-turned-actor's Malayalam directorial debut. The shooting of the project, which is touted to be a comedy-drama, has been progressing in Kochi. If the latest updates are to be believed, the upcoming Mammootty-Gautham Vasudev Menon project has finally got its title.

Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s project gets a title?

If the recent updates are to be believed, director Gautham Vasudev Menon and actor-producer Mammootty have finalised the official title of their highly anticipated project. The movie, touted to be a crime investigation drama, has reportedly been Mr. Detective. Even though the cast and crew members have not officially announced the title yet, the sources suggest that a major announcement is expected to be made very soon.

Mammootty, Gautham Menon to reveal the first look soon?

As reported earlier, the much-awaited Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial is now nearing the final stages of its filming. The sources close to the project suggest that leading man-producer Mammootty and his team are planning to officially reveal the film's first look poster and title in a few days. We can expect the major update either on September 6, 2024, on the special occasion of Atham day, or on September 15, 2024, Thiruvonam day.

According to the grapevine, Mammootty is appearing in the role of a private investigator in the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial, which reportedly revolves around an investigation. Gokul Suresh, Lenaa, Viji Venkatesh, and others essay the supporting roles in the film. Darbuka Siva, the popular musician is reportedly making his Malayalam debut, as the music composer of the project. Vishnu Dev handles the cinematography, and Anthony handles the editing, respectively. The much-awaited project is bankrolled by Mammootty’s home banner, Mammootty Kampany.
