Mammootty's Bazooka release date confirmed! Makers announce when the game-thriller will hit theatres

After a terrific 2024 that saw Mammootty in varied avatars in Bramayugam and Turbo, the megastar of Malayalam cinema has an exciting lineup for 2025 as well. Mammootty's game thriller Bazooka is among the most awaited releases of the year from Mollywood. And raising the anticipation for the movie, directed by Deeno Dennis, the makers have confirmed the Bazooka release date.

Mammootty-starrer Bazooka will have a worldwide release on February 14, 2025, the makers have confirmed. Bazooka thus will be the second release of Mammootty in 2025 as the Bramayugam actor has Dominic and the Ladies' Purse set to release on January 23, 2025.

Noted filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon will also be seen in a key role in the Mammootty-starrer , which interestingly will be their second collaboration this year. Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, starring Mammootty, is being directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon in the filmmaker’s Malayalam debut. Babu Antony, Sharafudheen, Sidharth Bharathan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Shammi Thilakan, among others, are also part of the cast. Sidharth Bharathan had earlier played a key role in Bramayugam.

Mammootty plays an agent who sets out to bring down a gangster as Bazooka follows the thrilling game between good and evil.

Deeno, who is making his directorial debut with Bazooka, had earlier shared with OTTplay that there are a lot of artists in the film. The movie, mostly set in Bengaluru and Kochi, has several compelling factors along with thrilling sequences.

For the unversed, Deeno Dennis is the son of popular scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis who had collaborated with Mammootty on several films such as Sandarbham and Aa Raathri during the 1980s. Kaloor Dennis has also scripted movies such as Sakshal Sreeman Chathunni and Gajakesariyogam, both of which had Innocent in lead roles. Clips of Gajakesariyogam, featuring Innocent and KPAC Lalitha, are often found doing the rounds on social media.

Mammootty's upcoming films

Apart from Bazooka and Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, Mammootty has other interesting projects in his kitty. He Has joined hands with Mahesh Narayanan for a project, tentatively titled MMMN, which also features Mohanlal in a full-fledged role. Mammootty is also reportedly in talks for a film with Amal Neerad. The duo had earlier worked on Bheeshma Parvam and Big B.
