Mammootty and Mohanlal’s plans for MMMN revealed; Nayanthara to join the team soon?

Mammootty and Mohanlal, the legendary superstars of Malayalam film industry, are all set to share the screen after a long gap of 12 years. The iconic duo is joining hands for the upcoming Mahesh Narayanan project, which has been tentatively titled MMMN. As you may know, Mammootty is playing the protagonist in the film, which stars Mohanlal in a pivotal role. The veteran actors’ plans and major updates on the upcoming Kochi schedule of the film, are now revealed.

Mammootty and Mohanlal’s plans for MMMN revealed

If the latest updates are to be believed, Mammootty and Mahesh Narayanan wrapped up the second Sri Lanka schedule of MMMN, recently. The cast and crew of the untitled film are now moving to Ernakulam, for the upcoming Kerala schedule. Reportedly the new schedule of the film will start rolling in Ernakulam, on Monday, January 20, 2025. Mammootty, the leading man of the project, is expected join the new schedule, the same day. The megastar is expected to wrap up his portions in the film in 90-100 days.

Mohanlal, who is reportedly playing the anti-hero in the Mahesh Narayanan directorial, is expected to join the Ernakulam schedule on January 28, 2025. Even though it was recently rumoured that the Drishyam actor will resume the film of MMMN on January 18, 2025, the plans are reportedly changed. The superstar is now busy with the pending shoot of his long-delayed film Vrushabha, in Mumbai. Mohanlal is expected to wrap up his portions in the upcoming political action thriller, in less than 25 days.

Nayanthara to join the new schedule of MMMN

The rumour mills also suggest that Nayanthara, the popular actress who plays the female lead in MMMN, will join the Ernakulam schedule of the film. As per the reports, the Jawan actress will be a part of all the upcoming Kerala schedules of the film, which marks her first onscreen collaboration with director Mahesh Narayanan. Nayanthara is teaming up with Mohanlal for MMMN, after a long gap of 21 years, and with Mammootty, after 9 years.
