Malli Pelli OTT release date: This is when and where the Naresh Pavitra Lokesh starrer will be out

Malli Pelli featuring Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh was one of the most controversial films in recent times as it dealt with the real-life relationship between Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh who are in a live-in relationship as of now. The film is their biopic and was directed by MS Raju and released on the 6th of May, 2023. It ended as a below-average fare at the box office.

Amazon Prime Video bought the streaming rights of the film for a fancy price. Though the film did not make much money with the theatrical screening, the makers landed profits thanks to the OTT deal. Naresh played a film star who falls in love with his co-star played by Pavitra Lokesh. 

MS Raju showcased the drama in a gritty manner in this film which also had Jayasudha in a key role. On the other hand, we at OTTplay had earlier reported that Malli Pelli will be out on Amazon Prime on the 24th or 25th of June. The makers tried to negotiate for an early OTT release date for more money but Amazon Prime Video did not show much interest in the deal. 

Now the news is that the film's digital release has been locked for June 23rd, 2023. Malli Pelli was also quite special as it was the late Sarath Babu's last film of his career. He passed away just days before the release. 

The film's promotions were carried out in a bold manner as both Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh gave controversial statements about their relationship in all their interviews. We need to see what kind of a buzz the film will create with its OTT release.
