Malli Pelli on OTT: Not just Prime Video, the Naresh-Pavitra Lokesh starrer to release on this platform too

Malli Pelli is one of the most controversial films that was released in the last few months. The film is a biopic on the life of actor Naresh and his live-in partner Pavitra Lokesh. Naresh is already married thrice and without divorcing his third wife, he entered into a relationship with actress Pavitra Lokesh.

What's special is that Naresh himself produced Malli Pelli and MS Raju, the veteran producer directed it for the Telugu audience. The family drama was also released with the title Matthe Maduve in Kannda. The controversial film which was released on 26th May 2023 did well in its initial first weekend but fell flat once the weekdays started.

We at OTTplay had already reported that Malli Pelli would be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the 23rd of this month. Now, the news is that the film will also have its digital release on the Telugu OTT platform Aha on the same 23rd of June. 

The makers are already in a profit zone as both Amazon and Aha have shelled decent money on these rights. Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh showcased sizzling chemistry off and on screen and kept the film in the headlines. As the theatrical revenue was not that much, Malli Pelli is one of the most awaited films on OTT thanks to the curiosity factor created by the couple off-screen.

Naresh is one of the most sought-after character actors in Telugu cinema and was trolled for dating an elderly woman at the age of 60. Well, all this has worked in the favor of Naresh as Malli Pelli based on his real life landed him good profits.
