The Premam actor stated that his strong emotional connection to his Malayalee From India character, Aalparambil Gopi, motivated him to take on this project. "I loved working on the film's very relatable concept, and I hope people enjoy it on the big screen," he added. According to Nivin, this is a full-fledged comedy movie with a compelling plot interwoven with poignant and humorous moments.
Aalparambil Gopi, a foolish young man whose odd hairstyle matches his antics, is the main character of Malayalee From India, based on the trailer. The first song, Krishna, and the announcement of the film portrayed the image of an entertainer, which highlighted Nivin's natural sense of humour.
In contrast, the latest teaser included a few short scenes showing Gopi getting into serious trouble and his mother being told that he is trapped in a "Chakravyūha," from which he will likely never be able to escape. Lockdown measures were also taken in his village in order to prevent harm or a threat to the residents.
