Malayalee From India – Nivin Pauly and Dijo Jose Antony team up for a comedy entertainer; fans are in love

Nivin Pauly, the popular star of Malayalam cinema is set to make a strong comeback after a low phase, with some promising projects. The Premam star is teaming up with Dijo Jose Antony, the director of the highly acclaimed film Jana Gana Mana, for his next outing. The announcement promo of the promising project, which has been titled Malayaalee From India, has been released on social media on the special occasion of Christmas 2023.

Malayalee From India promo promises a fun ride

After a long break, Nivin Pauly returns to his old, charming, and humorous self in the fun promo of Malayalee From India, which has excited his fans. "It's a small promo and see how engaging and innovative this was to watch for 7 mins. When good directors come, they can turn simple scripts into magic," commented an excited fan. "This is the sure shot comeback of the entertainer Nivin," wrote a cine-goer. "Nivin is back," wrote another fan.

The promo begins with director Dijo Jose Antony’s phone call with producer Listin Stephen, who is curious to know what happened after the meeting. However, the filmmaker informs the producer that the hero is working out, and the latter is unable to believe it. But, Nivin Pauly was seen enjoying his popcorn, while counting the push-ups of a gym mate. From the trainer's reactions, it is quite evident that the actor is not putting an effort to get back into shape.

Later, the actor-director duo is seen having their discussions and Nivin is seen asking for a ‘pan-Indian subject’ with courtroom scenes and expresses his disappointment. However, director Dijo breaks it to the actor that it is a ‘local’ subject, and further adds that only he can pull off the character. The teaser later travels through the fun narration of the filmmaker, and Nivin Pauly’s hilarious reactions to the same. Meanwhile, some of the supporting cast members, including leading lady Anaswara Rajan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Manju Pillai, are introduced. Later, we are introduced to the lead character Aalparambil Gopi, played by Nivin.

The movie, which is touted to be a fun-filled entertainer, is written by Sharis Mohammed. Sudeep Elamon is the director of photography. Jakes Bejoy is composing the songs and original score. Sreejith Sarang handles the editing and colouring. The project is jointly produced by Nivin Pauly and Listin Stephen, under the banners, Pauly Jr. Pictures and Magic Frames.
