Aparna Nair, who had acted in Malayalam serials such as Chandanamazha and Atmasakhi, was found dead at her home in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday

Malayalam TV and film actress Aparna Nair was found dead at her residence in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday evening. She was 31. The body has been shifted to a private hospital mortuary. The Karamana police have registered a case of natural death and have begun an investigation.
Aparna has also starred in movies such as Dileep’s Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel, Gokul Suresh’s debut feature Mudhugauv, Jayaram’s Achayans and Tovino Thomas’ Kalki. However, it’s her stint in the small screen in serials such as Chandanamazha, Devasparsham, Mythili and Atmasakhi that earned her fame.
Her latest serial was Kaliveedu, in which the makers had opted for Aparna to replace actress Sindhu Jacob for the character of Athira.
As per reports, the actress was found unconscious at her home in Karamana on Thursday evening and even though she was rushed to a private hospital in Killipalam, she was pronounced dead on arrival. Her mother and sister were with her at home on Thursday, according to Manorama News. She is survived by her two children and husband Sanjit.
