The makers of Malayalam’s latest film, Mandakini, have announced their next project. The film, titled Maine Pyar Kiya, is billed to be romantic comedy drama. According to the makers, the movie also includes intriguing elements of a thriller. They have also revealed that a few Tamil stars have been lined up for the project, along with a stellar cast of young Malayalam actors.

Produced by Sanju Unnithan under the banner of Spire Productions, the film is directed by debutante Faisal Faziluddin. The script is written by the director himself.

Teaser of Maine Pyar Kiya

The brief clip suggests that a young couple is being watched for possible elopement. While one gang in Kerala is heard promising to move the couple safely to Kottayam shortly, another gang in Tamil is heard giving orders to seize the man and kill him in a ruthless manner. The teaser does not provide an insight into the film's cast. In the upcoming days, more updates about its theatrical release and cast are anticipated.

Mandakini to stream on Manorama Max soon

The makers of Mandakini have confirmed that it will soon be accessible online. Soon, Manorama Max will offer streaming access to the romantic comedy drama featuring lead actors Althaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar. It is reasonable to anticipate that in the first or second week of July, Mandakini will be accessible on the platforms.

The movie's trailer and posters made references to the comedy entertainer Mandakini, in which the lead actors played a married couple. The protagonist of Mandakini is a young man who is struggling to prevent the first night of his new marriage from ending badly.

The supporting cast of the movie includes Jeo Baby, Pratish Jacob, Ambili Sunil, Babita Basheer, Guinness Vinod, Ganapathi, Jafar Idukki, Sarita Kuku, Vineet Thattil, Aswathy Srikanth, Kutty Akhil, Akhila Nath, and Ajim Shah. This humorous family drama, which hit the big screen in May, is directed and written by Vinod Leela.
