Malayalam actor and stage performer Kottayam Nazeer was rushed to a private hospital after complaining of chest pain.

Malayalam actor and stage performer Kottayam Nazeer has been hospitalised private hospital in Kottayam after he complained of chest pain. On Sunday morning, Nazeer developed chest and physical discomfort and he was immediately rushed to a private hospital where he underwent an angiogram procedure.
According to reports, Nazeer is kept in the intensive care unit of the hospital for observation. While there is no clear update on his health or the angiogram test results, the reports claim that he's out of danger and his condition is stable.
Nazeer is a household name in Kerala. He's also a known face with the Malayali diaspora in various parts of the world. His popularity comes from his talent in mimicry. Like most popular artists in Malayalam cinema, Nazeer started pursuing a career in live entertainment as a mimicry artist. According to reports, he has so far done more than 15,000 stage shows across the world. He is also a hit performer with a television audience. He has been part of Comedy Stars Season 2, Comedy Masters, Chaya Koppayile Kodumkaata, Comedy Circus, Comedy Utsavam, Jollywood, and Flowers comedy Awads to name a few. He has shows on almost all Malayalam entertainment channels.
Nazeer also has more than 50 film titles to his credit. He was last seen in actor Dileep's family drama Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan. Before that film, he had shared screen space with actor Prithviraj in Brother's Day (2021).
