The makers of Malayalam’s latest film, Mandakini, had announced their next project, Maine Pyar Kiya, in June. Now, they have revealed that Preity Mukhundhan will play the female lead in this flick. Described as a romantic comedy drama, Maine Pyar Kiya will also have captivating components of a thriller. Faisal Faziluddin is directing the movie, which is produced by Sanju Unnithan under Spire Productions' banner. The director is also the one who has penned the script.
The movie's teaser implies that a young couple is being observed in case they decide to elope. A group from Kerala is heard offering to relocate the couple securely to Kottayam soon, while a gang from Tamil is heard giving orders to capture the man and brutally murder him. The cast of the movie is not revealed in the teaser.
