Pakistani actress Mahira Khan married businessman Salim Karim in October 2023. There have been reports that the actress is pregnant and is set to embrace motherhood once again soon. However, the Raees actress has now addressed the rumours and the speculations.
Mahira Khan clears the air about her pregnancy
The reports started doing rounds when a Reddit post went viral claiming that Mahira is expecting her second child with her husband Salim Karim. The report also stated that amid the pregnancy, she also backed out of her projects with Netflix, ‘Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo’ and another yet-to-be-titled film. Khan has now spoken up about the rumours and told Express Tribune, “It’s not true that I’m pregnant. And I haven’t left the Netflix series.”
Meanwhile, the post on Reddit read, “So, I got this news from a close source that she opted out of the esteemed Netflix project alongside a big film as she’s expecting her second child somewhere in August or September. An announcement could be made soon or not if she chooses to announce it after birth but as she’s a big celeb and can’t keep it lowkey for long, I personally feel that she will announce.”
