Mahesh Babu, ever since the commencement of his career, has extensively talked about the influence his father, late actor, producer Krishna, has had over him. Krishna left no stone unturned to groom Mahesh as an actor since his younger years, shooting his films during Mahesh's summer holidays and ensured a firm foundation to his career with Rajakumarudu. Needless to say, Krishna's untimely demise, earlier this month, would've been a huge emotional blow to the actor.
A few days after Krishna's death, Mahesh Babu shared an emotional message about his father today. He wrote, "Your life was celebrated... your passing is being celebrated even more... Such is your greatness. You lived your life fearlessly... daring and dashing was your nature. My inspiration... my courage... and all that I looked up to and all that really mattered are gone just like that."
Beyond death, Mahesh opined that his father would live in him forever. "But strangely, I feel this strength in me which I never really felt before... Now I'm fearless... Your light will shine in me forever... I will carry your legacy forward... I will make you even more proud... Love you Nanna.. My Superstar." Mahesh lost his mother, Indira Devi, and brother Ramesh Babu, earlier this year.
On the work front, the star is next working with filmmaker Trivikram, the 28th film in his career, where he's paired opposite Pooja Hegde. After that, he'll commence a film with SS Rajamouli in mid-2023, a globe-trotting adventure on the lines of Indiana Jones.
