Hombale Films is a production house that has fast become one of the most successful ones in the country. With one of the top most talked about project with Kantara, the makers have unlocked a new room of content that is flooded with ideas and has an audience waiting to buy that ticket. One of those ideas is the Mahavtara series that they are now shaping and the first film in that series is titled Mahavtara Narsimha. The film has been the talk of the town ever since and now the makers have shared the first teaser for the same.
A collaboration between Hombale Films and Kleem Productions, Mahavatar Narsimha launches the Mahavatar series, which will narrate the tales of Lord Vishnu's multiple avatars. Released on Makar Sankranti, the teaser promises a cinematic experience like no other. With the Maha Kumbh Mela currently ongoing, the teaser offers a divine glimpse into a story rooted in faith and tradition.
The film depicts the story of faith and hope through Bhakt Prahlad and Lord Vishnu’s descent as Narsimha to vanquish evil and restore humanity. Recognizing the unique and vibrant world of this story, the creators opted for an animated format to push creative boundaries and deliver an unparalleled visual experience.
This marks Hombale Films’ second project delving into lesser-known aspects of Indian culture, following the groundbreaking success of Kantara. With Kantara, the studio introduced the world to the Kola festival and the divine traditions of India’s heartland, creating a cultural phenomenon. The film emerged as a sleeper hit, breaking records and becoming a Pan-India sensation.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, Mahavatar Narsimha is a joint venture with Hombale Films. This dynamic partnership aims to deliver a cinematic marvel rich in culture, visual grandeur, and storytelling depth. The film, set to release in 3D and five Indian languages, promises to be a treat for audiences across platforms.
