The trailer of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Maharaja has been unveiled. Rather short for a trailer, which comes up little more than 100 seconds, it begins with Vijay Sethupathi introducing himself to a police official that his name is Maharaja and he owns a salon. He lodges a complaint that Lakshmi got stolen from his house and wants to file an FIR. Sporting a salt and pepper look and an injured ear, we see Vijay Sethupathi going on about his saloon works, as he clarifies that Lakshmi isn't money or jewels, he denies them. Mystery surrounds what is Lakshmi as he pleads police they find Lakshmi. As we are introduced to different characters and glimpses are shown, police concludes that a bigger issue is burning and that Maharaja is hiding something.
