Maharaja first look: Vijay Sethupathi sports a new avatar

The actor, who is now garnering praise for his performance in Jawan, is seen in a new appearance in the first look of Maharaja which has been unveiled now. He is seen sitting on a chair in a small dilapidated building wielding a sword dripping with blood even as he is surrounded by a few cops.

He has blood stains all over his dress and his left ear is bandaged. The actor looks remorseless after having committed a murder. The intriguing poster has left his fans thrilled.

Playing hero after a short hiatus

Maharaja will feature Sethupathi as a hero after a while. Though the actor's Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir which was released this year had him playing the protagonist, it was lying in the cans for a long time. DSP, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Maamanithan were a few movies that had him essaying the lead in recent times.

Merry Christmas and Gandhi Talks are upcoming movies of the actor who had half a dozen releases in 2023.
