Maeri OTT release date: When and where to watch Sai Deodhar's series about a protective mother

ZEE5 is bringing a new series, titled, Maeri. The makers have announced it on November 26. Starring Sai Deodhar in the lead role, the series will explore a mother's journey of going to the extent of saving her daughter's life. Now, the release date and the trailer have been revealed by the makers on their social media pages. 

Maeri release details

ZEE5 took to their official Instagram account and shared a captivating trailer of Maeri. They also announced that the series starring Sai Deodhar will be avaiable for streaming from December 6. 

The trailer of Maeri shows Sai's daughter Ragini facing a brutal gang rape. She went to the court to seek justice but everything was in vain. The series will show what a mother can do when justice is denied to save her daughter's life. In the trailer, Sai looked distressed as the law and police could not give her daughter justice. She said, "Now I will do what a mother does for her daughter. If something wrong is done to right the wrong, it isn't considered wrong."

Sharing the trailer, they captioned it, "When justice is denied, a mother takes matters into her own hands. #Maeri premieres 6th December, only on #ZEE5."

The poster of Maeri featured Sai Deodhar. She looked intense as she carried a bag and prepared to fight against those criminals who gang-raped her daughter. As her daughter could not get justice, Sai took things into her own hands to punish them.

The post's caption refers to the fierce and protective instincts of a mother who takes matters into her own hands. It also highlights determination and resilience when a mother refuses to remain silent or passive in the face of injustice.

The show seems to explore revenge, activism or advocacy, highlighting a mother's boundless love and relentless drive to seek justice for her child.

Meanwhile, Sai Deodhar, who is best known for her TV roles, has done films such as Prahar, Ghar Aunda, and Mogra Phulaalaa. She was seen as Inspector Priyanka (supporting role) in the popular investigative series, CID.
