Mad’s Proud’Se Single: Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Shobhan celebrate singledom in style

Sithara Entertainments, one of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema, besides producing biggies like Bheemla Nayak, Jersey, Sir and Premam, has consistently backed concept-driven, small-budget films in the recent years, be it Swathimuthyam, DJ Tillu, Butta Bomma or Intinti Ramayanam. Their next is a campus entertainer titled MAD, directed by Kalyan Shankar.

MAD marks the acting debut of Narne Nithiin, the brother-in-law of RRR, Devara star Jr NTR and features a bunch of exciting talents including Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar and Gopikaa Udyan. With the film gearing up for a release in a couple of weeks, the first single, Proud’Se, was unveiled today. Bheems Ceciroleo is the composer.

Proud’Se has lyrics by Raghuram, with the composer Bheems Ceciroleo crooning for it alongside the dance number specialist Nakash Aziz. The track has a bunch of youngsters consoling their friend after a breakup and ask him to move on, stating why it’s better to be ‘single’ than ‘mingle’. The lyrics are trendy, aptly reflecting the enthusiasm of the protagonists and what they intend to convey.

‘Single ga undu mama..girlfriend enduku..Hyderabad Secunderabad..Porenta padithe nu barbaad..simple ga unna life ni complicate cheyaku,’ the opening lines of Proud’Se mirror the mood of the song, filled with words of wisdom stating why ‘singledom’ is the way to go. Bheems Ceciroleo, who has largely been restricted to mass and rural sagas to date, uses the opportunity well to compose a vibrant song.

Raghu Babu, Racha Ravi, Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu, Anthony, Srikanth Reddy form the supporting cast of the film produced by Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya. Shamdat and Dinesh Krishnan B are the cinematographers while the crew comprises editor Navin Nooli, art director Raam Arasavilli, stunt director Karunakar and costume designer Chinmayee Kakileti as well.
