Before building a career in Bollywood, a strong push is necessary. However, that push seems to go astray in the case of Madhumita Sarcar.
The actress from Bengali cinema has embarked on her journey in Hindi cinema with the film Farz. This is making waves within the industry. Just a few days ago, it was heard that Madhumita, the son of Rati Agnihotri, Tanuj Virwani, was set to make a big break in Bollywood. Shooting was supposed to commence this week. However, it hasn't happened yet. On the other hand, Madhumita is busy shooting outdoors in Arunachal for Shieladitya Moulik’s film Ke Prothom Kache Eshechi. There is no official confirmation about any upcoming Bollywood films for the actress. When will the shooting begin? There are doubts about that too.
But why did Madhumita Sarcar’s first Hindi film project, Farz, get stalled? It is heard that the budget required for this film is still a matter of negotiation for the producers. Hence, director Pritam Mukherjee has not been able to start working on the film shooting yet.

Interestingly, many actors and actresses from the Bengali film industry are currently looking towards Bollywood. The list is quite long. Jisshu U Sengupta, Parambrata Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, and others have been stepping into Hindi films one after another. Actresses are not behind either. Swastika Mukherjee, Raima Sen, and Paoli Dam, among others, have a presence. Prosenjit Chatterjee, who is a symbol of the Bengali film industry, has recently made his mark in Bollywood OTT with two Hindi series, Scoop, and Jubilee. In fact, Abir Chatterjee has also worked in Mumbai. Mimi Chakraborty is in the lead role in the Hindi remake of Posto. The teaser of Yash’s recent Hindi film Yaariyaan 2 was dropped recently. Now, Madhumita Sarcar, the beautiful actress from Tollywood, was supposed to be the latest addition to this list. However, even before starting, the shooting is facing obstacles for the producers!
