Anticipation is building up for Kunal Kemmu’s debut directorial film, Madgaon Express. The film is about a Goa trip gone wrong and the director himself describes Madgaon Express as Dil Chahta Hai gone awry. The film stars Divyendu Sharma, Avinash Tiwary and Pratik Gandhi, among others. Trailer

The trailer starts by giving us a peek into the childhood dreams of three youths who aspire to go to Goa alone. The trailer then cuts to the adult version of these best friends and their journey to Goa aboard Madgaon Express. Amid all the fun and games, the trio finds themselves involved in a drug case, being chased by police, smugglers and gangsters to retrieve the drugs from them.

Plot

The film centres around the life of three best friends who go on this Goa trip aboard Madgaon Express, only to find themselves entangled in a drug case. Being hunted by police and gangsters, their desperate attempt to win their freedom back and get away from the clutches of police form the storyline of the film.

Twist

The biggest plot twist of the film comes when the trio find themselves suddenly involved in a drug trafficking case, amid all the adventures in Goa. They end up becoming a part of a larger conspiracy, forcing them to hide from the police and gangsters.

Release date

Filled with fun, humour and banter, this thriller drama film is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 22.

Shooting location
