Madgaon Express: Kunal Kemmu announces directorial debut on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi

Kunal Kemmu recently appeared in the highly anticipated instalment of his dark-thriller show, Abhay on ZEE5. Now, he is back to debut as a director this time. The actor took to Twitter and announced his first ever venture as a director for the film named Madgaon Express. The highly anticipated project is set to be backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

Kunal shared the first ever poster of the movie on Twitter with a special note that reads, "Ganpati Bappa Moriya! As all good things begin with his name I can’t think of a better day to share this with all of you. It started with a thought in my head, which grew into a dream which flowed out through my fingers into words on my laptop, and now it is becoming a reality on its way to the silver screen. (Sic)."

Moving on he said thank you to the producers Ritesh and Farhan for parenting with him in the new exciting journey and believing in his script and vision. He further sought Lord Ganesha's blessings and introduced his first ever directorial.

Apart from his directorial beginning, Kunal is also set to be seen on silver screens with his two upcoming films such as Kanjoos Makkhichoos and Malang 2. 

Meanwhile, Excel Entertainment has given the audience with several blockbuster films such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Chahta Hai, Don, Don 2 and many more. Currently, the production house is gearing up for the most awaited Jee Le Zaraa starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khattar among others.
