Golmaal-famed Kunal Kemmu has finally made his directorial debut with Madgaon Express. But that's not all, he has also written the comedy-drama, and also starred in it. It's really one of a kind project, where an actor is deeply involved in his project. Truly, inspiring. Interestingly, Madgaon Express is backed by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, which has given blockbusters like Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Rock On!! (2008), Talaash (2012), Raees (2017), K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), Gully Boy (2019), and more.
It's been 16 days, Madgaon Express has been released, and is still successfully running in theatres across India. The film has earned over Rs.21 crore till now. However, today Kunal Kemmu and Nora Fatehi, the lead actress, surprisingly visited a theatre in Mumbai. It is said to be an unplanned visit by the duo to experience the audiences’ reactions live.
In the video, fans are captured super thrilled and can't stop gushing over Kemmu and Fatehi. After watching such excitement, the duo even gave hugs to many and clicked numerous selfies. Kunal and Nora are not seen exhausted or irritated at all while interacting with fans. Rather they have been super humble while talking to them.
3 childhood friends - Dodo, Ayush, and Pinku are determined to conquer Goa. The trio has been dreaming about sun-drenched beaches and carefree nights for a very long time. Little did they know, their grand plans are about to get crushed, and they are destined to experience something unique and hilarious. A series of questionable choices would send their Goa dream totally off-track, turning their lives into some unexpected rollercoaster.
Apart from Kunal Kemmu and Nora Fatehi, Madgaon Express also stars Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwari and Divyenndu in never-seen-before avatar. Recently in an exclusive interview with Zoom TV, Nora expressed how she felt while shooting for Madgaon Express. This is the second time the 32-year-old actress has been cast in as an actress. She is particularly famous for striking and alluring item songs and her unique dance moves. Before this comedy-drama, she acted in a pivotal role in Ajay Devgn's Bhuj: The Pride of India (2021).
Hence, while talking to Zoom TV, she shared that she was super scared and nervous to work with Gandhi, Tiwari and Divyenndu. But quickly she turned the conversation funny saying that her poker face helped her a lot to not reveal that she was actually nervous. She also revealed that she literally thought the whole crew would think why the makers have cast Nora, because other than good looks and dance moves, she has no acting talent to bring on the table.
However, Nora expressed that she was overwhelmed to know that not a single person kept such a perspective about her. They were all very welcoming and friendly to her. This really helped her to bond with people and bring out her acting talent.
