Kunal Kemmu's directorial Madgaon Express performed well in its first week at the box office, garnering an estimated ₹14.40 crore in India, according to data from Sacnilk. Actor Avinash Tiwary, who plays Ayush in the film, has received praise, along with his co-stars Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu. Despite being an actor for 15 years, Avinash hopes for a breakout role like his Laila Majnu co-star Triptii Dimri – where her supporting role in Animal propelled her to be the ‘national crush’.

In the Netflix series Bulbbul by Anvita Dutt, Avinash and Triptii's collaborative performances were widely hailed. Their on-screen chemistry strengthened their status in the movie business. Avinash recognized that Triptii's popularity had skyrocketed after her performance in the movie Animal, giving her the title of India's "national crush." This was a turning point in her career, he noted.
In a conversation with the Indian Express this morning, Avinash added, “There was a breakthrough moment for her, and all the credibility that she earned before that has given so much more love to her. I am hoping something like that would happen to me as well.”
Tiwary is known for his role in the television series Yudh and in the film Tu Hai Mera Sunday. He gained popularity for starring in the romance drama, Laila Majnu and the supernatural film Bulbbul.
Avinash Tiwary's last movie to hit theaters was Laila Majnu. Even though theaters closed down within three days of its release because of COVID-19, both he and his co-star Triptii Dimri got a lot of good feedback from critics and viewers. Since Laila Majnu came out, Avinash says he has been getting a lot of love, respect, and praise for his work.
Talking about Triptii, she has a number of high-budget films lined up at the moment. At first, she will be seen in Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk-starrer Bad Newz. This film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Later, she will be playing a titular role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan. This film will also feature Vidya Balan in a prominent role.
