Former South Africa cricket captain AB de Villiers recently confirmed that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting their second child. The couple was blessed with their first child, daughter Vamika, on January 11, 2021. However, AB de Villiers has now stated that he made a terrible mistake by sharing 'false information' about Anushka and Virat. The cricketer stated that the news he shared on his YouTube channel was not true at all.
In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, AB de Villiers said family comes first as it is a priority. However, the cricketer stated, "I made a terrible mistake at the same time, sharing false information, which was not true at all." AB said that whatever is best for Virat's family comes first.
He added that no one knows what is happening and all he can do is wish the best for the Indian cricketer. Unaware of the reason for Virat's break, de Villiers hoped that Kohli would make a stronger comeback, better and fresh.

For those who are unaware, AB de Villiers had earlier spoken about excerpts of the texts he exchanged with Virat Kohli. While mentioning the same, the cricketer confirmed that Virat and his wife are expecting their second child. "Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it’s family time and things are important to him," he said.
Much before AB commented on Anushka's pregnancy, a source told Hindustan Times that the actress was in her second trimester. Having said that, the couple was expected to make an announcement later, just as they did when Vamika was born. However, both Virat and Anushka haven't issued any statement in the public.
On the professional front, Anushka has been away from movies for a while now. The actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero, wherein she shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress, will premiere on Netflix.
