Maayavalai teaser- Ameer takes centerstage in Ramesh Balakrishnan's complex thriller

The teaser for Maayavalai, the upcoming Tamil film starring director-actor Ameer, was released on social media recently. The film, which also stars Sathya and Sanchita Shetty, is a romantic thriller. Directed by Ramesh Balakrishnan, and the release date of the film is yet to be announced.

The teaser of the upcoming film has Ameer giving the voiceover and introducing himself as Rajan, Sanchita as Sara, and Sathya as Sathya. In his voiceover, Ameer says that the three of them share love, affection and care. But a certain instance causes a dent in their relationship and the teaser shows various sequences that build tension. It ends with the tagline, “Life is a complicated web (maayavalai).” From the first glance, the teaser hints at a promising thriller with beautiful music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The music captures the intriguing story behind the teaser. The reunion of Ameer and Yuvan Shankar Raja after a long gap has ignited excitement among their fans.

Apart from Ameer, Sathya and Sanchita, Saran, Dheena, Vincent Ashokan and others star in Maayavalai. The film’s crew consists of Ramji handling the cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. SP Ahamed is the editor. Maayavalai is backed by Ameer Film Corporation and released by Vetrimaaran's Grassroot Film Company. 

Ameer joins the cast of Vetrimaaran’s Vaadi Vaasal

Suriya plays the lead role in Vetrimaaran's film Vaadi Vaasal. The Viduthalai director said that Ameer will be playing a pivotal role in the film. “When he played Rajan in Vada Chennai, I thought I would give him some input. When casting him in Vaadi Vaasal, I knew that if I was inside the house, he would give me a lot of input,” the filmmaker elaborated.

Meanwhile, Ameer is also awaiting the release of his film, Uyir Thamizhukku, in which he plays the lead role.
