Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies has produced the movie which began its shows at 9 am across Tamil Nadu.
Fans of the star and other movie buffs have been taking to Twitter to post their responses to the film. A few have described their opinion by dividing it into two halves while some others have come up with a wholesome review.
Sivakarthikeyan's screen presence is the backbone of Maaveeran, say a few while Yogi Babu's comedy also has been garnering whistles and claps. Some of them have unanimously termed it as a blockbuster that will take Siva to the next level in terms of stardom.
According to a few cinephiles, director Madonne has come up with another engaging movie after his debut Mandela which won the National Award last year. Movie geeks are going gaga over his story and innovative presentation style.
Vijay Sethupathi's voiceover is said to be another attraction of the movie. It was only a few days ago that the makers announced the actor's contribution to the film.
Action scenes, too, seem to have a few takers. Siva's action is said to have improved in the movie, say netizens.
