Thalapathy Vijay's wife Sangeetha visited a theatre in Chennai on Friday to catch the first day and the first show of actor Sivakarthikeyan's latest movie Maaveeran. The video of Sangeetha trying to avoid the paparazzi outside the theatres has surfaced online and is going viral. It's the first time, she has been spotted in public after a long time. 

Sangeetha usually keeps a low profile and she actively steers clear of all spotlights. She seldom makes an appearance even at the film events surrounding Vijay's movies. However, she seems to be a fan of Sivakarthikeyan. She could be seen wearing a face mask, probably to avoid detection. 

'Maaveeran' Sivakarthikeyan: From humble beginnings to Tamil cinema's powerhouse

Maaveeran stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role and is written and directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame. Maaveeran is said to be a superhero movie. While the trailer didn't reveal Sivakarthikeyan's superhero avatar, it suggests some sort of divine intervention from the skies that awakens the superhero in the protagonist. In the movie, Sivakarthikeyan plays a cartoonist, who is extremely afraid of everything. And the film seems to trace how the hero overcomes his faint-heartedness and emerges as a 'great warrior'. The film also stars Aditi Shankar as the female lead. 

Sivakarthikeyan seems to have a winner in Maaveeran as it has been garnering good reactions from the audience. The film has Mysskin in the role of the main antagonist, while Yogi Babu is included for comical relief.
