The new project marks the sophomore collaboration between Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil after their remarkable performance in Maamannan

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil and Kollywood actor Vadivelu, who last shared screen space in 2023 superhit political drama Maamannan, are teaming up yet again for another interesting project. Bankrolled by Super Good Films, the duo have been roped in to star in RB Choudary's upcoming venture.
The makers shared the news on the New Year’s Eve with a social media post, announcing Super Good Films’ ‘Production No. 98’. Helmed by Sudheesh Sankar, the project was announced with a poster listing the crew of the film.
The yellow-coloured poster, with a road passing through, suggests that the film could be a road travel drama. Other details regarding the yet-to-be-titled project are expected to be revealed soon.
Although the plot of the movie is yet to be revealed, the films technical team consists of Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will be serving as the composer, while Kalaiselvan Sivaji is on board as the cinematographer. The film’s editing will be handled by Sreejith Sarang.
This project marks Fahadh’s sixth Tamil venture, while his previous films include Velaikkaran (2017), Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Super Deluxe (2019) and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram (2022). Currently, the Mollywood star is busy shooting for Rajinikanth-TJ Gnanavel’s action film Vettaiyan.

Meanwhile, after Maamannan, Vadivelu was last seen in P Vasu’s horror comedy Chandramukhi 2.
About Fahadh Faasil’s next collaboration in Vettaiyan
Fahadh Faasil, who will be next seen in Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyan, will be essaying a prominent role in the action flick. In the film, Rajinikanth is set to play the role of a senior police officer Vettaiyan as the film is touted to be an action-packed film with a strong social message. Along with the Kollywood superstar and Fahadh, the much-awaited project features a stellar star cast including legendary Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
