Maamannan actress Raveena Ravi is Sreenath Bhasi's leading lady in his 50th film

Raveena Ravi who started as a dubbing artist later appeared on screen in Tamil and Malayalam movies. He is the daughter of dubbing artist Sreeja Ravi, who dubbed more than 2000 films in her career. The actress who was last seen in Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan is ready to make her second appearance in Malayalam. The untitled project helmed by debutant Joe George is a family drama in which a woman is rescued from some difficult circumstances by her husband and father. The movie has Sreenath Bhasi in the lead which also marks his 50th film as an actor.

Vani Viswanath who was one of the leading actresses in Mollywood is making a comeback through this movie after a 10-year hiatus. She will be essaying a pivotal character in this movie. Vani who had appeared in all four languages also shared the screen with stars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Chiranjeevi, and Mithun Chakraborty. Her previous film in Malayalam was the sequel of the comedy entertainer Mannar Mathai Speaking. She had earlier announced a movie with her husband Baburaj, titled The Criminal Lawyer. The movie is touted to be a crime thriller with no other updates from the makers.

The movie also features Saiju Kurupu, Lal, TG Ravi, Boban Samuel, and Gilu Joseph in the main roles.  The film is scripted by Sagar, who helmed films like Kumbarees, Veekam, Sathyam Mathrame Bhodippikku, and Kanaka Rajyam. Saneesh Stanley has lensed the camera and Noufal Abdhulla does the editing

Meanwhile, Sreenath Bhasi who debuted in the Mohanlal film Pranayam later went on to do supporting and lead roles. He is popular for his movies like Da Thadiya, Parava, Honeybee, and Kumbalangi Nights. He recently essayed a lead role in the film Chattambi which did not do well at the box office.
