Maa Oori Polimera 2 OTT release date - When, where to stream Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskarla’s thriller

Maa Oori Polimera was one of the few OTT hits that released in 2021 and grew on audiences gradually over time despite minimal promotions. The tale revolving around love, betrayal, superstitions amidst a rural backdrop captivated streaming enthusiasts and enjoyed impressive viewership upon release on Disney+ Hotstar. Satyam Rajesh, Baladitya, Getup Srinu and Kamakshi Bhaskarla played lead roles in the film.

The first part of Anil Vishwanath’s thriller intentionally had a cliffhanger ending and the stunning response motivated the makers to come up with a sequel on a grander scale. Maa Oori Polimera 2, the second instalment of the film, retained the primary cast of the prequel, besides making way for new faces too and released in November. Gowr Kriesna bankrolled both the parts and tasted success.

After the huge success of Polimera 2 earlier this year, the film is gearing up for its OTT premiere soon. Leading Tamil/Telugu platform aha acquired its post-theatrical streaming rights and is premiering the film on December 8. However, aha Gold subscribers will have access to the thriller a day earlier, the streamer tweeted. aha followed a similar strategy for the digital release of the love triangle Baby too.

“Mind-Bending Blockbuster #Polimera2 vachestondi, oohinchani twist la tho on aha on 08 Dec. 24 hours early access to aha Gold subscribers,” the platform wrote on social media. Chitram Seenu, Ravi Varma, Rakendu Mouli and Sahiti Dasari too essayed pivotal roles in the thriller, which had music by Gyaani. Kushedar Ramesh Reddy is the cinematographer for the film while Sree Vara is the editor.

The story, set amidst Jastipalli, revolves around an auto driver Komaraiah, who, after eloping with Kavitha, settles down in Kerala. Back in his village, his friends and family have no clue of his wherabouts. Komaraiah's brother Jangaiah, a constable, is nowhere to be found in the village. When a series of mysterious deaths in the village generation tension, Ravindra Naik, a newly appointed cop, is out to find answers.
