Lyricist Vivek on working on Kalidas Jayaram’s upcoming movie directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi

Lyricist Vivek rose to fame for his lilting lyrics that come off as a ballad in several tracks like Ennadi Maayavi Nee, Hey Sandakaara and Aalaporan Thamizhan among many. This time, he will be working on lyrics for the tracks composed by Dharan Kumar. It will be featured in the upcoming yet-to-be-titled movie of Kalidas Jayaram that is helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. The film has Tanya Ravichandran as its female lead. Meanwhile, let’s have a look at what the lyricist had to say on working with the filmmaker.

According to an ETimes report, lyricist Vivek talked about the upcoming movie of Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi to be a soulful one. He believes the director put in some of her deep heartful emotions into making the movie. He also lauded the director for being an empathetic human being who respects other people’s feelings. “We have worked on a song for transgender earlier, and she always wished the best for them,” he said on working with the director. He also added that he was eager to work with the music composer Dharan Kumar in the upcoming Kalidas Jayaram starrer after he saw his previous works especially Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Parijatham.

He also gave an insight into collaborating with Sid Sriram in Dhanush’s Vada Chennai, when the former penned the lyrics for Ennadi Maayavi Nee. He ultimately shared a brief deet about the track of the upcoming movie, which is touted to be a one-of-a-kind melody.

Talking about lyricist Vivek’s upcoming projects, he is currently occupied with penning lyrics for Dhanush’s Maaran and Ram Charan’s RC15.
