Lucky Lakshman OTT release date: When and where to watch Sohel, Mokksha’s entertainer online

ormer Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Sohel’s recent release Lucky Lakshman, which hit theatres in the last week of 2022, is gearing up for its OTT premiere. The film, which had him paired alongside Mokksha, was written and directed by AR Abhi. After a brief theatrical run, noted OTT platform has acquired the streaming rights of the entertainer. The premiere date was confirmed this week.

Lucky Lakshman is all set to arrive on aha on February 17. The film, produced by Haritha Gogineni under Dattatreya Media, has an ensemble cast comprising Devi Prasad, Raja Ravindra, Sameer Hasan, Kadambari Kiran, Shani Salmon, Anurag, Ameen, Rohi Nayan, Sridevi Kumar, Geethuroyal Kevvukarthik, Racharavi Yadammaraju, Master Sameer, Master Ayaan and Master Karthikeya.

The story revolves around a middle-class youngster Lakshman (Syed Sohel Ryan) who is smitten by his college mate Shriya (Mokksha). Lakshman has little respect for his father and in fact, leaves him to settle with Shriya, who takes care of him for the time being. However, they part ways soon and in his aim to be rich, starts a marriage bureau with the help of his friends.

Lakshman turns rich overnight and transforms drastically as a person. Soon, he discovers that his ex is going through a terrible phase. Will Lakshman and Shreya reunite? AR Abhi has also written the dialogues for the comedy. Noted cinematographer I Andrew had cranked the camera for the film whose crew comprises editor Prawin Pudi, choreographer Vishal and lyricist Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar.

Anup Rubens composed the music for the film. Lucky Lakshman received mixed reviews upon release while critics praised Sohel for his performance, calling the plot ‘predictable’. The latter also plays the lead in veteran director SV Krishna Reddy’s comeback film, Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu, produced by Atchi Reddy, that is set to release in theatres this March.
