Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor and Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan are all set to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming romantic drama, Loveyapa!

A new on-screen couple in the town! Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi-Boney Kapoor, and Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan are all geared up to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming romantic drama. The title of the movie was recently revealed and it is Loveyapa. The makers also announced the release date of the film along with the title.
On December 26, Phantom Studios took to their Instagram account and shared a poster regarding Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's upcoming romantic drama.
They revealed that the film will be released in theatres on February 7, 2025 and is titled, Loveyapa. The film is directed by Advait Chandan.

The caption reads, “Situationship? Relationship? Love ka syapa? ya Loveyapa? See you in the theatres on the 7th of Feb 2025." As soon as the announcement was made, fans reacted. One of the fans wrote, “This is gonna be the blockbuster of the whole 2025 year." Another wrote, “Wooooo…major excited for this."
The film is reported to be a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today, which starred and was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan.
Earlier, Hindustan Times reported that the first leg of the shoot wrapped up in Mumbai, and now the duo is filming in the Capital.
"The team started shooting here three-four days ago, and the schedule will go on for another 10-12 days. While the supporting cast has been joining the shoot as and when needed, Junaid and Khushi are going to be here for the entire schedule," the source added.
Junaid Khan made his acting debut with Maharaja co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat. Siddharth P. Malhotra-directed thriller drama follows the Maharaja Libel Trial Case of 1862. Karsandas Mulji (Junaid Khan), a journalist and social reformer, was a pioneering advocate for women’s rights and social reform. He wrote on widow remarriage, stood up for the oppressed and sowed seeds of reform in society.
On the other hand, Khushi Kapoor made her debut with The Archies. It also marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The Archies, the musical-comedy is an Indian adaptation of the American comic book series centred in the fictional town of Riverdale. It is directed by Zoya Akhtar.
