Loveyapa: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira approves of brother Junaid Khan's GenZ look in the rom-com; see quirky post

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's son Junaid Khan is gearing up for his first theatrical release, Loveyapa. It also features Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi Kapoor, and it will mark her first theatrical release as well. The duo has been going all out to promote their GenZ love story. Recently, the makers recently hosted a special screening for friends and family. Junaid's sister Ira Khan was seen gracing the special screening. A while ago, she shared her quirky review of the film with a precious childhood picture featuring herself and Junaid. 

Ira Khan's quirky post for brother Junaid Khan

Ira Khan, who got married to her longtime beau Nupur Shikhar in 2024, is quite active on social media. She dropped an adorable childhood picture remembering how Junaid used to think she was cute. She went on to reveal how people would often ask who was the older sibling, and she would clarify that Junaid is five years older. While fondly recalling their memories, she went on to praise him for his appearance in Loveyapa. 

Her post read, "When he still thought I was cute! And look how excited I am to receive his attention and affection! I think we’re both cute. Someone asked me who’s older. Junaid!! 5 whole years. How is that even a question!? Can’t tell who’s being complimented and who’s being insulted. Though he does look very GenZ in #loveyapa." Have a look:

After she dropped the unseen picture, fans were seen going gaga over their cuteness. One of the fans wrote, "So beautiful picture ira junaid." Another fan wrote, "Till now I thought you were the elder one."

When Aamir Khan spoke about Loveyapa

Earlier, Aamir Khan was seen praising his son's film. Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa is a rom-com that showcases a modern relationship and how a GenZ couple goes about it. Speaking to ANI, Aamir called it an entertaining film. He said, "I liked this film, it is very entertaining. The way our lives have turned out these days due to mobile phones, and the interesting things that happen in our lives due to tech are shown in the film. All the actors have done a good job. When I watched the film and saw Khushi, I could see Sridevi in her. Her energy was there, I could see. I am a huge fan of Sridevi."

Loveyapa, also starring Ashutosh Rana, will hit theatres on February 7, 2025. It will clash with Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravi Kumar.
