Kenneth Branagh returns as the iconic detective Hercule Poirot for a third time in A Haunting in Venice. Branagh yet again serves as the director for the third film in the franchise, which is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe'en Party. The plot revolves around a retired Poirot who is thrust into yet another murder investigation in Venice, as whispers of supernatural forces begin to engulf the case. Murder on the Orient Express - Disney+ Hotstar

Acclaimed British actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh’s debut as Agatha Christie’s iconic sleuth Hercule Poirot was in the 2017 film, Murder on the Orient Express. The film revolves around ace detective Poirot as he investigates the murder of a passenger on the Orient Express heading towards London. Branagh also serves as the film’s director and it boasts a stellar ensemble cast of Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, and Daisy Ridley among others.

Death on the Nile - Disney+ Hotstar

The sequel to the 2017 remake of Murder on the Orient Express, is the 2022 film Death on the Nile. Kenneth Branagh reprises his role as Hercule Poirot as he investigates a new murder mystery. Branagh who also directed the film, plays Poirot who finds himself inexplicably entangled in the mystery surrounding the murder of a young heiress on a cruise ship. Poirot’s vacation in Egypt quickly turns into a sinister conspiracy that the detective must solve. The film’s star-studded cast includes Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Letitia Wright, and Ali Fazal among others.

The Pale Horse - OTTplay Premium

The 2020 mini-series The Pale Horse stars Rufus Sewell in the lead as Mark Easterbrook, a man investigating a series of eerie deaths. A trio of witches have been accused of these murders, but Easterbrook believes there is more to the mystery than just witchcraft, as he pieces together several clues to unravel the case. The series is helmed by Leonora Lonsdale and also stars Kaya Scodelario, Sean Pertwee, and Georgina Campbell among others in prominent roles.

Why Didn't They Ask Evans - OTTplay Premium

Veteran British comedian and actor Hugh Laurie, who is best known for playing Dr.House in the hit medical drama House, has helmed the 2022  mini-series Why Didn't They Ask Evans? This Agatha Christie adaptation tells the story of a vicar’s son, Bobby Jones, and Lady Frankie Derwent, a wealthy socialite, as the unlikely duo embark on a murder mystery-solving adventure. Will Poulter plays the role of Bobby while Lucy Boynton essays the role of Lady Frankie. Series director Hugh Laurie also plays a prominent role along with Academy Award-winner Emma Thompson and Conleth Hill, who is best known for playing Lord Varys in Game of Thrones.

Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989) - OTTplay Premium

However, David Suchet’s depiction of the character in the hit series Agatha Christie's Poirot is widely regarded as the most definitive version. The 1989 TV series follows Poirot on his crime-solving escapades as he encounters some of the most mystifying murder mysteries. The iconic TV series ran for 13 seasons with 70 episodes for nearly 24 years.
