The movie helmed by RP Bala was released in theatres more than a month ago

Bharath and Vani Bhojan, who teamed up for Miral last year, joined hands again for Love which hit the screens on July 28. RP Bala directed the movie which opened to mixed responses from critics and cinephiles. Billed as a suspense thriller, it is the remake of a Malayalam film with the same title.

The Mollywood version directed by Khalid Rahman, which was released in 2020, starred Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan in lead roles. Vivek Prasanna, Radha Ravi and Danial Annie Pope among others essayed key roles in the Tamil version which was bankrolled by director Bala himself.
The tale of an unhappy couple
The movie's story revolves around a couple who is leading an unhappy married life. They wish to lead a separate life, but the situation doesn't allow them to opt for a divorce. One day, during a heated argument, the husband slaps his wife and the latter passes away.
He seeks the support of his friends to help him, but a series of unexpected things happen, leaving him in trouble. How is he going to deal with the mess?
Gearing up for digital premiere
Love is set for its OTT release. The thriller flick is dropping on aha Tamil on September 8. The platform has made an official announcement as well. Unlike most of the movies that are dropped on aha Tamil after four weeks of their theatrical releases, Love is arriving after six weeks.
Ronnie Raphael has composed music for the movie which has cinematography and editing by PG Muthiah and Ajay Manoj respectively. Stunner Sam has choreographed action scenes while Dinesh Mohan has helmed art direction.
