Love Next Door episode 12 preview: Seok-ryu hears Seung-hyo call himself her boyfriend but her reaction is not too cool

Now that Seok-ryu (Jung So-min) and Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in) are officially a couple (they progressed from being neighbours and childhood friends at last), they have started hanging out and just started doing couple things. However, it is all new for Seok-ryu, who has just gone through a turmoil of emotions with her ex-fiance coming in the picture, getting out of it and she being a part of the last moments with him in front of Seung-hyo, and her cancer revelation being out in the open. However, despite everything, Seok-ryu finally acted upon her feelings and accepted her childhood friend Seung-hyo as her lover. Here’s what happened since…

Seung-hyo expresses himself as Seok-ryu’s boyfriend

Seok-ryu asks Seung-hyo if he was always warm-hearted. To that, Seung-hyo asked her if she thinks her boyfriend is cold-hearted.

On hearing the word boyfriend, Seok-ryu blushes and questions what is he saying. The famous "Are you crazy?" from K-dramas was stated out loud!

Seok-ryu accepts Seung-hyo is her boyfriend

After the kiss and her current behaviour, Seung-hyo is left confused. He asks her straight-up what is he if not her boyfriend. To that, Seok-ryu hesitantly agrees. "I suppose you are," she tells Seung-hyo. She has not heard the word since a long time, and after seeing Seung-hyo as her childhood friend for the longest time, she now feels weird after hearing him call himself her boyfriend. With that, the two share another cute moment.

A proposal came about in the previous episode of Love Next Door. While Seung-hyo had already confessed his feelings towards Seok-ryu, this time she also reciprocated. Feeling lost without him, Seok-ryu chose Seung-hyo and kissed him in the middle of the sunflower field. Thus, with that, the childhood friends acted upon their feelings and officially became a couple.
