Pulkit and Kriti have worked together in several movies. They first met in 2018, when they starred in the rom-com Veeray Ki Wedding. However, their love blossomed on the sets of Anees Bazmee's 2019 action-comedy film, Pagalpanti.

Their closeness sparked dating rumours, but like any other celebrity, the lovebirds kept it a secret until they were ready to share their dreamy romance. During the film promotions of Pagalpanti, Kriti acknowledged for the first time that she was dating Pulkit. This was soon followed by a confession by Pulkit.
