Love & War: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal to go on floors on THIS date

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War brings together an outstanding ensemble including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. The makers have locked 2026 as the film's release date and now we have details about the shoot schedule. The film was earlier scheduled to go on the floors on October 10, but reports suggested that it was delayed due to the Mumbai rains. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War to go on floors on November 7

As per the recent reports by Pinkvilla, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to start the shoot of Love & War in November with Ranbir Kapoor in Mumbai. Revealing details about the shooting, a source was quoted as saying, "The set construction has already begun, and SLB is all ready to take the film on floors with Ranbir Kapoor. The actor will shoot for his solo sequences for a couple of weeks, and then be joined by Vicky Kaushal. Alia Bhatt on the other hand will begin Love & War after wrapping up Alpha in the first week of December."

According to the reports, the film will be shot across India over a period of one year spanning from November 2024 to October 2025. Ranbir will finish his part of the film by July or August 2025, while Vicky and Alia have given 200-plus days and will shoot till October next year.

Love & War is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is slated to release in theatres on March 20, 2026. The release date of the film coincides with Ramzan, Gudi Padwa, and Ram Navami. The film marks Vicky Kaushal's first collaboration with SLB, while Alia Bhatt's second after Gangubai Kathiawadi. This will also mark Kapoor’s second film with Bhansali after his debut in Saawariya.
