Love Again, the 2023 film starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan, appears to be heading to a new destination. The romantic comedy has been streaming on Netflix briefly after its theatrical run. However, the OTT giant has announced that the last day to watch is on September 19, 2024. But no worries, Love Again has found a new OTT platform and will begin streaming on SonyLIV (OTTplay Premium) beginning September 20, 2024.
James C. Strouse penned and directed the romantic comedy-drama, an English-language rendition of SMS für Dich, a 2016 German film based on a novel by Sofie Cramer. In her debut feature film role, Celine Dion plays a fictionalised version of herself.

Imagine meeting your soulmate through an unexpected SMS. In Love Again, Priyanka Chopra Jonas portrays Mira Ray, a grieving fiancée who sends a series of love texts to her fiancé Rob Burns' (Sam Heughan) former cell phone number, oblivious to the transfer to his new work phone. Because Rob is a journalist, he finds the delightfully confessional writings to be utterly captivating due to their honesty. When he receives an assignment to write a biography of the megastar, who is actually herself in her debut film role, he turns to Celine Dion for advice on how to meet Mira in person and win her heart.
The remaining cast members include Celia Imrie, Arinzé Kene, Lydia West, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Steve Russell, and Sofia Barclay. Moreover, Nick Jonas makes a cameo in the film.
Dion's 1996 album Falling into You, which featured a cover of the song It's All Coming Back to Me Now, inspired the earlier title of the film, It's All Coming Back to Me. A later announcement revealed the film's new title: Love Again.
Love Again, which played in theatres from May 2023 until mid-June, survived on the big screen for nearly a month. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned $12.7 million globally at that time, on top of a reported $9 million for production costs. Quite simply, it bombed at the box office. However, the romantic comedy lived it up on Netflix, where viewers have given it another chance to discover the film.
