Yami Gautam is certainly proving her mettle in the digital sphere these days. After A Thursday and Dasvi, the actress is gearing up for her third consecutive direct to OTT release, in the form of the upcoming thriller film, Lost. An investigative thriller based on real life events, Lost is all set to arrive on a popular OTT platform this week.
What is Lost about?
Inspired by real events, Lost sees Yami in the role of a spunky crime reporter named Vidhi Sahani, who investigates the case of a missing college student. As she gets deeper into her investigation, she realises that this is no simple missing case, and there are several elements at play, some of which may even be life threatening. In spite of being bombarded with a number of theories surrounding the young man’s life, Vidhi is determined to uncover the truth on her own.
Who are the cast and crew behind Lost?
Yami stars as Vidhi, a crime reporter investigating the missing case of a college student. Yami had called the film an ode to the plethora of journalists who try to keep their humanity and integrity intact, while going to great lengths to search out the truth. The actress said that the film represented a higher quest and a search for lost values of empathy, while raising the right questions.
Tushar Pandey, Pankaj Kapur, Neil Bhoopalam, Rahul Khanna and Pia Bajpiee also essay prominent roles in the film, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. The director had assured viewers that the film would not only tug at the heartstrings of audiences, but would also make viewers raise questions and introspect. The film has been produced by Zee Studios, Namah Pictures, Sam Fernandes and Indrani Mukherjee.

Lost will be available to stream on ZEE5 from February 16, 2023 onwards.
