Loki Season 2 release date: When and where to watch the MCU series starring Tom Hiddleston on OTT

Tom Hiddleston starrer Loki Season 2 is the most awaited MCU series this month. Created by Michael Waldron, the upcoming show is based on Marvel Comics and also stars Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino and Jonathan Majors in major roles.

Plot of series

Following the after events of Avengers: Endgame, the series revolves around Loki, who somehow ends up in Time Variance Authority (TVA) while escaping Earth. He learns that he is a prisoner and embarks on a mission to prevent the other variants of Loki in the multiverse from breaking the sacred timeline.

The cast of the show

Hiddleston plays Loki alongside Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie and Jonathan Majors as multiple characters including He Who Remains, Victor Timely, and Kang the Conqueror. Created by Michael Waldron, the Marvel Studios-produced show also has Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ke Huy Quan, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei and Richard E. Grant in significant roles. 

Release date and OTT platform

Cinematography for the upcoming instalment is done by Isaac Bauman, while Natalie Holt has composed the music for the Marvel series. Loki Season 2 releases on October 5 at 6 p.m. PT in the US, while it will be out in India on October 6 at 6 a.m. only on Disney+ Hotstar.
