Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj recently attended a college event and shared a few life advises, while addressing the students. After the speech, he also took a few questions from the students and obviously, everyone seemed to be curious to know about his upcoming projects, including Superstar Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 171.

As everyone requested Lokesh to reveal something about Thalaivar 171, he suggested that the subject of the film will be very different from his earlier movies. "I have not finished writing it. But, the film has to be 'mass' because it's a Rajinikanth sir film. And I am doing this film without the subject of drugs and all. But, it will be an action film," he revealed.

Lokesh was further probed to share what were his plans for the other instalments in his LCU series. However, it seemed he didn't have anything substantial to share about his other projects at the time. He noted that he can only get back to Leo 2 after completing his current commitments, including Thalaivar 171, and Kaithi 2. In the meantime, he also revealed he was in talks with Suriya, promising, "Rolex movie will happen very soon."

Lokesh is now basking in the success of Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay. The film was loosely based on the popular graphic book novel, " A History Of Violence." The film became one of the biggest earners in the history of Tamil cinema, and the biggest Tamil hit in 2023 by raking in more than Rs 620 crore in ticket sales.

Leo is the latest addition to Lokesh's cinematic universe, which is known as LCU. However, Thalaivar 171 will have no connection to this movieverse. Earlier, Lokesh said he was very excited about the project, describing it as "an experimental film."
