Ever since Little Things premiered back in 2016, fans could not get enough of the engaging, relatable antics of its lead couple Kavya and Dhruv. Along with fans, its lead star Mithila Palkar too seems to notice parallels between herself and the fan-favourite character she emulates on screen.

In a conversation with IANS, Palkar traced the growth and character development of Kavya over the course of three seasons. From being in a place of doubt and uncertainty in the first season, she says the character has really grown up to become a person much more sure of herself than she was when she started out.

The actress also traced the journey of Kavya so far, mentioning the first season that witnessed her taking a plunge into the unknown by quitting her job as she realises that it wasn’t her passion. In the second season, she had landed a job she loved doing and in season three, the star says that her character had witnessed quite a bit of growth as an adult.

The season had seen her cementing her relationships with her partner as well as her parents, and the actress says that is when she started relating to her character most of all.

Little Things follows the story of a young couple who live together in Mumbai, chronicling the everyday aspects of their life together. The show was initially aired on Dice Media’s YouTube channel. Later, the streaming giant Netflix acquired the rights of the series.
