Little Miss Rawther is ready to hit the theatres; releasing on THIS date

Little Miss Rawther, helmed by debutant director Vishnu Dev, is gearing up for a theatrical release. Initially, the film was scheduled to hit the cinemas on October 6, but the makers deferred the release. Starring Gouri G Kishan and Shersha Sherief, Little Miss Rawther is a romantic drama film. The movie has received U/A certification, and is all set to be released on October 12.

The plot and lead characters of Little Miss Rawther

The film revolves around a love story between a tall man and a short woman. Sherief plays Abhijith Chandra Das, an aspiring filmmaker who falls in love with Naina Rawther (Gouri). The movie takes us through their love life and presents a new-generation romantic tale.

Little Miss Rawther is a musical romantic drama co-written by the lead actor, Sherief. Speaking to ETimes recently, the director said that the female lead in the movie is a progressive young woman who is quite studious but has different views when it comes to relationships. Vishnu also assured that the movie has comical elements despite being a romantic drama. The recently released trailer showed the challenges in their relationship, marked by the difference in their height and career choices.

In an interview with the New Indian Express, Sherief expressed his gratitude for having composer Govind Vasantha on board for his film. According to Sherief, Govind told him about the significance of music in the film. The movie has a total of 11 songs, making it a romantic musical, similar to Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Hridayam, which was a commercial success.

The movie also features Jishnu Sreekumar, Nikita Therese and Sangeetha Prathap as key characters, alongside Nandini Gopalakrishnan, Ranjith Velayudhan and Manoj KU. Little Miss Rawther is produced by Srujan Y and Sadhik Shaik. The technical team comprises Luke Jose (as cinematographer) and Sangeeth Prathap (as editor). The production design is handled by Mahesh Sridhar.
