Star is a coming-of-age drama and the recent film Kavin was seen in. In the film directed by Elan, Kavin plays an aspiring actor, who is constantly encouraged by his father, to pursue his dreams. However, after one incident, he only gets distanced from being an actor. The rest of the film is how the boy pursues his dreams. Star opened to mixed to positive response, with Kavin’s performance highly appreciated. The film also stars Lal, Geetha Kailasam, Preity Mukundan, Aaditi Pohankar, and others.

Dada – Prime Video

Directed by Ganesh K Babu, Dada is a family drama. It revolves around a couple who find out that they are pregnant. As they choose to go ahead with the birth and eventually welcome their son, the duo part ways, leading to the father to raise the child alone. Dada stars Aparna Das as the female lead. The film became commercial success and garnered positive reviews upon its release in 2023.

Lift – Disney+ Hotstar

Lift is a horror thriller film directed by Vineeth Varaprasad. Starring Kavin and Amritha Aiyer in the lead roles, the film is primarily set inside a corporate office where two workers get caught between a chain of haunting events, leading up to many realisations about their work culture. The lead cast’s performances were met with positive reception upon the film’s release.

Akash Vaani – Aha

Akash Vaani is a romantic comedy drama series helmed by Enoc Able. The series stars Kavin and Reba John in the lead titular characters, along with a cast comprising of Sharath Ravi, Deepak Paramesh, Vinsa Sam and Livingston among others. Akash Vaani consists of seven episodes. It revolves around a divorced couple who were once celebrated for their togetherness. However, as fate has it, circumstances throw them in situations which demand them to act as lovers again.

Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma – Prime Video

Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma is a 2019 Tamil comedy drama starring Kavin, Raju Jeyamohan, Arunraja Kamaraj, Remya Nambeesan, Azhagam Perumal and Ilavarasu among others. Directed by Shiva Anand. The film revolves around three friends who run a business together. However, after two of them fall in love with the same woman, troubles brew among them.
