Suraj Venjaramoodu started off as a comedian in Malayalam cinema, leaving the audience in splits with his hilarious dialogues and antics. But the actor then slowly explored more serious roles, and even going on to win a National Award (Best Actor) for Perariyathavar in 2014. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays production controller Kichu, the friend (almost side-kick) who goes all out to help his friend Balu. Jayaram stars as Balu who elopes and gets married to Surya, and ends up at a film set where Kichu works. Suraj Venjaramoodu lights up the movie with his one-liners.
The film revolves around Saroj Kumar, an actor who is now way past his prime and still tries to be a star. Sreenivasan plays Saroj, while Suraj appears as Muttathara Babu, his aide. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Fahadh Faasil, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Mukesh are also part of this film.
The film revolves around the elderly Leelamma, who lives with her son Siby, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. But Susamma has quite a temper and her son puts up with it. Suraj plays the calm and mild-mannered Siby in this comedy-drama. Rajini Chandy plays Leelamma along with Bhagyalakshmi and Lena.
Suraj Venjaramoodu joins hands with Kunchacko Boban, , Chemban Vinod Jose, Shine Tom Chacko, and Manikandan R. Achari for this film, directed by actor-filmmaker Sidharth Bharathan. The film follows four thieves who plan to rob a jewellery store.
Suraj Venjaramoodu dons the role of a grumpy 70-year-old man, Bhaskaran Poduval, in this charming film, which also stars Soubin Shahir. Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's directorial debut narrates the tale of how Bhaskaran Poduval forms a bond with a robot. This film is a must-watch on this list.
